Mid Canterbury Connector is seeking more volunteer drivers.
The service brings rural residents into Ashburton for things such as medical and dentist appointments, seeing family and friends, accessing government and social services.
The service, developed by Mid Canterbury Community Vehicle Trust, was launched in 2021.
The aim was to help people to feel less isolated, and allow them to do what they needed in town and feel more connected to the Ashburton community.
The service uses volunteer drivers and a trust vehicle.
It is currently looking for more volunteers to drive hours which suit them, between 9am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. Induction and training will be provided.
